The numbers tell a lot — more than 43 million sold in 150 countries through 11 generations since 1966. The Corolla became the best-selling nameplate in the world by delivering a perfect combination of quality, reliability and value. The latest iteration, the 2017 Corolla, marks the 50th anniversary of this car, and continues to be a rather mundane appliance, but one that does everything asked and expected of it, well.
